As of March 1st, I officially got my first internship (ever) with Chicka-d! Chicka-d is a clothing brand specialized in college spirit wear for women. They have license for 81 colleges/universities in the U.S., so they might have some cute dresses your school. Check them out here!
I’m so stoked! The internship is all I could ask for (except it’s not paid, but not many college freshman can get those anyway so no big deal). The internship applies to areas of study and also part of the industry I want to work in (FASHION!) I will be learning a lot about marketing (my major) and supply chain (my minor) as well as other aspects of running a business.
I will start in the fall, probably the busiest season for college wear because it’s football season after all.
I haven’t blogged in a while so I thought I might share this with the Tumblr world! :)
Time to read my stats textbook and take notes…blah
